Raw Food Potluck

Our Raw Food Potluck is held the 3rd Sunday of every month at 5 PM. We occasionally change the 3rd Sunday depending on holidays and special events. Please check out our Raw Food Calendar for the latest calendar dates: Raw Food Calendar and to see pictures of our previous potlucks and events.

Please bring your very own plate, fork, spoon, bowl, napkin and something to drink for you. We ask that you make an ORGANIC raw food dish that will serve 4-6 people.

Please do not use bottle lemon (it is not RAW), oils that do not say raw and unpasteurized . Olive and coconut oil is best. You may use honey. Please specify you have honey in your dish. For those recipe challenged, bring a gourmet raw salad or a fruit salad.

Tips: Gourmet Salad: Baby greens, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, sprouts, carrots, red bell pepper, cucumbers, zucchini, etc. Fruit Salad: Apples, grapes, blueberries, pineapple, cherries, pears, banana, strawberries, raspberries, slivered almonds, shredded coconut.

Simple Salad #1:

Cucumber, tomatoes, red onion all chopped with fresh chopped dill and tossed lightly in olive oil and a squeeze of lemon with a sprinkle of sea salt.

Simple Salad#2:

Slice ½ each red and green cabbage, ¼ cup black sesame seeds, 1 cup sliced almonds, 1 bunch of green onions chopped, 1/3 cup each apple cider vinegar, olive oil and 2 tbsp honey. Toss well and sprinkle with sea salt.

Simple Salad #3:

Slice banana, pineapple, apples and oranges. Toss in berries, chopped pecans and shredded coconut.

Basic Vinaigrette Dressing (Everything Organic)

1/3 Olive Oil (raw unfiltered, unpasteurized) Bariani, Omega Nutrition, Flora
1/3 Filtered Water
1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/3 Apple Cider Vinegar (raw and unpasteurized) Omega Nutrition or Braggs
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp Nature's CargoSea Salt
1 tsp black pepper
2-3 crushed garlic

Mix all ingredients in a cruet bottle. Best made the day before. Last for weeks in the pantry.
